DVA Architecture provided architectural design services for the renovation of an existing Playhouse Square tenant space into the new Republic Food and Drink. Our team worked closely with The Driftwood Group to completely upgrade the interior dining space, which now features new furniture, custom booth seating, finishes, wallcoverings, and lighting. To fully encompass a modern take on the classic American Tavern, our team designed a 30’ grand bar to act as a focal point within the space. Nods to the historic nature of the space were incorporated through the use of custom wallcoverings and gallery walls.
