Architecture & Interior Design

DVA Architecture  provided architectural and design services for the renovation and addition to Kent State University’s Center for Performing Arts building, which included audiological clinical spaces, graduate research spaces, multi-purpose classrooms, and supplemental spaces which help to enable their community outreach programs. DVA Architecture  designed the new addition to act as a new entry into the building, while still permitting the potential for future expansion. A covered drop-off area, security, and revisions to the adjacent roadway are being pursued to not only increase the function of the space, but also to modernize the exterior aesthetic of the building. As this building primarily services healthcare and clinical curriculum, DVA Architecture’s design allows the acoustics of the space to be compliant with privacy standards.
